美国范德堡大学官网近日发布公告称,该校生化学院化学系教授杰夫瑞·约翰斯顿与其学生开发出一种全新合成技术,能将生物体内重要的环状分子——环缩肽的合成步骤从之前的14步缩减到6步,而且产量更高,环状分子尺寸更大。新化合过程将开启全新的化学运用,更大环状缩肽具有独特的生物特性,可用来开发更高效抗生素、抗逆转录病毒药物以及杀虫剂。
