衰老是生命过程的重要篇章，是最基本的生物学过程之一。植物衰老的调控对逆境适应、作物产量和品质形成、以及世代交替具有非常重要的意义。植物在衰老进程的不同阶段调控基因表达，调整新陈代谢，重新分配营养物质，供给新生组织和贮藏组织，实现对衰老过程的主动和精细调控。近年来的研究已经发现了多个参与衰老调控的转录因子，但这些转录因子之间的功能互作网络尚不完全明确。
