中国团队在国际权威期刊《细胞研究》（Cell Research，影响因子20.5）上发表了肿瘤早筛HIFI技术的临床研究成果。HIFI技术主要用于肝癌和非肝癌人群的区分，研究一共纳入了3234例样本，其中肝癌508例、由病毒性肝炎、脂肪肝等引起的肝硬化2250例、健康人群476例，这是目前肝癌样本量最大的临床多中心研究。
