猴痘是由猴痘病毒(MPXV)引起的人畜共患病毒性疾病,首例人感染猴痘的病例1970年于刚果发现。2022年5月猴痘病毒在英国爆发,迅速席卷一百多个国家。2022年7月23日,猴痘疫情被世卫组织宣布为突发公共卫生事件。目前全球已有8.5万确诊病例,这给全球的人类健康构成了巨大威胁。因此,迫切需要开展针对猴痘病毒的基础研究,为临床治疗提供重要的理论基础。
